The Love Factor Inventory (LFI) is scientifically designed to help you learn about yourself by identifying psychological and spiritual strengths and weakness. It is an ideal process to share with a loved one. Taking the Love Factor Inventory together and discussing your responses can be a very enriching experience.

This LFI assessment is based upon constructs related to positive, healthy, and mature aspects of human development. The potential of such a measure is to provide a meaningful context to explore and explain healthy functioning which serves the development of deepening and sustaining close interpersonal relationships.

LFI is about one’s capacity for love. The real depth of your being is tested in everyday life. How you treat and respond to others demonstrates what is in your heart.

The Love Factor Inventory looks at critical issues surrounding your ability to sustain long-term relationships and provides essential information for individuals and couples.

Research has shown that those scoring higher on the LFI tend to have more stable and enduring intimate relationships. The LFI is not designed to assess levels of psychopathology or to provide any particular diagnosis. It is an educational tool that can help you to learn more about yourself with regards to relationships.

It is possible to improve your skills and enhance your ability to develop and sustain meaningful and loving relationships. The LFI is designed to give you information to help you learn about yourself and provide direction for self-improvement.

The LFI Scales

The scales we use to assess one’s capacity to develop and sustain intimate loving relationships.

Compassion
One’s ability to empathize with another person’s situation based upon a fuller understanding of that person’s reality.
Friendship
One’s capacity to develop mature, meaningful, long-standing, and dependable relationships.
Intimacy
One’s ability to sustain close interpersonal contact.
Male/Female
One’s style of expression between the masculine and feminine aspects of the Self.

Primitive Self
One’s ability to perceive and accept the darker, more primitive parts of the Self.
Psychological Adjustment
One’s level of freedom from debilitating psychological conflicts.
Romantic Love
The degree to which one believes in romantic love and “true” love.

Self-Respect
One’s level of respect for oneself and for others.
Sensitivity
One’s sensitivity to others and ability to grasp subtle changes in others’ moods.
Spirituality
One’s experience of relationship with the Divine and one’s sense of unity with all creation.
Trust
One’s level of trust and faith in life as a positive, purposive experience.

Can We Measure Love?

The LFI and Spirituality

Friendship is a very important aspect in a loving relationship. Too often, people become addicted to the highly charged exciting sensation of lust and romance. These kinds of connections are overly dramatic and very unstable. A foundation of friendship requires a thoughtful, considerate, respectful attitude.

The LFI Assessment

The assessment consists of 124 items (statements). You will be asked to rate each statement from “Absolutely Agree” to “Absolutely Disagree.”

Once you have responded to all items, we suggest you study the information provided in the “Interpretative Guide” section which gives suggestions on how to use your LFI findings, and then view your results. Only those who have purchased and registered can view this material.

It is as simple as that. Your first response is usually the best.

You may wish to come back and retake the LFI to see what progress you are making in your path of awakening. Once you have purchased the LFI and registered, you may come back as many times as you like to retake the LFI and will only be charged 50% of the original purchase price any time you wish to return and retake it.
